
Thousands of Palestinian children in Beit Lahiya, Gaza Strip, fly kites in an attempt to break the world record for the number of kites flying simultaneously. More than 7,200 kites were raised into the air on Thursday, July 29, 2010, setting a new world record in an event sponsored by the United Nations.
