The White House Rural Council is an entity within the Domestic Policy Council of the Executive Office of the President of the United States. The council was formed on June 14, 2012, and is intended to assist low-income residents residing in rural communities as an effort to build on the administrations rural economic strategy by promoting economic prosperity and quality of life.
