    Bodies exhumed in killings tied to Nelson Mandela's ex-wife Winnie

    Forensic scientists on Tuesday exhumed two bodies believed to belong to young activists last seen 24 years ago at the home of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela as police said they have opened a new murder investigation.

    ’Being Mandela:’ Granddaughters take to reality TV

    The newest reality television show is in some ways like any other: mother and daughters, sibling rivalry, family gossip and talk of Big Grandpa, who is very strict but loves it when his great-grandchildren are around making a racket. But that’s where the twist comes in: Big Grandpa is Nelson Mandela, the anti-apartheid legend.

    Winnie Mandela takes star turn in granddaughters' new reality series for U.S. TV

    Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, the controversial ex-wife of anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela, is featured as a doting and beloved grandmother and materfamilias in “Being Mandela,” a new reality series chronicling the fashion-forward lives of sisters Zaziwe Dlamini-Manaway and Swati Dlamini, the granddaughters of Mr. Mandela, 94, and Madikizela-Mandela, 76.


  • The opera "Mandela Trilogy" has a scene where Aubrey Lodewyk as Nelson Mandela reacts to the death of his son. The tragedy occurred while Mr. Mandela was imprisoned. The opera will be staged in Great Britain and Norway next year.
