Stanislawa Sapinska, keeper of Rutka Laskier's diary for 60 years, toured the document's new resting place: Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem. "She wanted the journal to survive, even if she didn't, so the world would see how the Jews suffered," said Mrs. Sapinska, who knew Rutka as a child.
