I blogged Friday night about the White House posting the $787 billion stimulus plan online for public comment - with a 500 character limit.
The short limit (less than 4 "Tweets" on Twitter) drew criticism online, as did the 500 character limit for the WhiteHouse.gov "contact us" page that went live when President Obama took office.
Some White House folks sniffed that it wasn't too little space, but apparently someone agrees.
Saturday night I checked the site and they now allow for 5,000 characters. That's 10 times the original space limit, and seems a lot more reasonable for a bill that's more than 1,000 pages.

Sorry folks, the 500 character Haiku contest I had planned to sponsor is now canceled.
