Received the following notice today:

 

September 5 – Open to Public – R.E. Lee Camp Hall Museum
Explore the R.E. Lee Camp Hall collection featuring artifacts of the Alexandria companies of the 17th Virginia Infantry CSA including the Alexandria Riflemen, Old Dominion Rifles, Mount Vernon Guards, O’Connell Guards, and Emmett Guards. Visitors can learn about the lives of Confederate enlisted men and officers, as well as those of Alexandria civilians during federal occupation. Free; donations welcome. Noon to 3 p.m. 806 Prince Street, second floor. 703.519.2123.relcamphall@hotmail.com
This is an excellent collection and the owners of the house have decided to make it open and available to the public on certain days during the summer.  Check it out!!
