Maryland ranked 25th

It’s been since late in the 2006 season, but Maryland is back in the national rankings.

The Terrapins just entered the AP poll at No. 25 today, and are one of three ACC teams to be ranked. Florida State and North Carolina are the others.

One other fun bit: Maryland and North Carolina are the ACC’s only bowl eligible teams through nine weeks. Bet that’s an outcome very few people would have taken at the start of the season.
