Comcast Center has mostly cleared out, Maryland's players heading home to consider a meeting with seventh-seeded California on Thursday.

They're in. They're elated. And they're also relieved.

Who could blame them on either count. This will-they-or-won't-they deal was never-ending over the last few weeks, mainly because it was going to determine how this season would be viewed.

As it stands, it will be viewed quite well.

Plenty more reaction and analysis to come later, but I've been up since 5:45 a.m. and have eaten nothing and drank a 20-oz. bottle of Dr. Pepper. That, friends, is not nutritious in the slightest.

So more to come tonight --- promise. Plus, there's NIT goodies and some bracketology review to get to at some point.
