Navy's Paul a game-time decision

Just a quick note from Navy, where attackman Tim Paul could play in Saturday’s Day of Rivals showdown with Army at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium.

Paul was injured in Friday’s 10-4 defeat of Maryland, and it certainly didn’t look encouraging when he watched the end of that game in a walking boot.

But it would seem it is “just” a sprained ankle, and he could be available for the Midshipmen (8-3, 3-2 Patriot) this weekend.

“The MRI results we received on Monday showed that Tim’s injury was not as severe as we had originally thought it to be,” coach Richie Meade said in a statement released by the school. “He has a sprained left ankle. We expect him to practice this week, but it will be based upon what he is able to tolerate.  We won’t, however, make a decision about Tim’s availability for Saturday’s Army-Navy game until the morning of the contest.”
