← return to D1SCOURSE

A quick note to finish the day: Former Maryland football players Chase Bullock (Arizona), Trey Covington (New York Jets) and Isaiah Williams (Baltimore) all signed free-agent deals.

(EDIT at 9:45 p.m.: Covington hasn’t signed yet)

Plus, tackle Dane Randolph and defensive lineman Dean Muhtadi got tryouts with Green Bay.

That makes 14 Terps who have something lined up less than 24 hours after the draft:

Drafted

Darrius Heyward-Bey (Oakland, first round)
Kevin Barnes (Washington, third round)
Moise Fokou (Philadelphia, seventh round)
Jaimie Thomas (Indianapolis, seventh round)
Dan Gronkowski (Detroit, seventh round)

Free agent

Dave Philistin (Seattle)
Edwin Williams (Washington)
Scott Burley (Washington)
Jeremy Navarre (Jacksonville)
Chase Bullock (Arizona)
Isaiah Williams (Baltimore)

Tryouts

Dean Muhtadi (Green Bay)
Dane Randolph (Green Bay)
