Another day, another Georgetown snippet

The Big East released its conference schedule --- opponents, not dates and times --- today, and Georgetown drew a slightly tweaked slate from a year ago.

The Hoyas get Rutgers, Syracuse and Villanova twice in the regular season. Rutgers and Villanova replace Cincinnati and Marquette as home-and-home opponents.

For the teams Georgetown met once last year and will play just once in the regular season this time around, the sites alternated as you would expect.

The compressed rundown

Home: Cincinnati, Connecticut, Notre Dame, Rutgers, St. John's, Seton Hall, South Florida, Syracuse, Villanova

Away: DePaul, Louisville, Marquette, Pittsburgh, Providence, Rutgers, Syracuse, Villanova, West Virginia

Of note to Maryland fans is the Lance Stephenson trip to D.C. with Cincinnati. That should be fun.

So, for copy-and-paste purposes for down the road, here's a glance at what's locked in for the Hoyas next season:

Dec. 8: vs. Butler in Jimmy V Classic in New York
