Not a particularly newsworthy day in College Park, where there was some availability heading into tomorrow night's exhibition game against Indiana (Pa.).
So, in that vein, here's a non-update update on sophomore forward Steve Goins, who is out with an injured knee that has had surgery on in August.
"He was supposed to talk to his doctor who did the surgery from Chicago this afternoon," coach Gary Williams said. "I haven't heard any results of that yet. He won't practice today. Then, the orthopedic doctor, Dr. [Craig] Bennett from here, is also supposed to talk to him before he plays or practices. So we're waiting to hear."
