Terps are playing; is anyone watching?

There are 56 games this week that feature at least one major-college (former Division I-A) school.

According to the folks at Awful Announcing, all but eight will be televised by an actual over-the-air outlet --- be it syndicated games, ABC regional games, cable games and even pay-per-view games.

This list doesn't include ESPN360 games, which is only mildly unfair. Without some effort (and, yes, hooking up a laptop to a TV requires a little bit of it), a 360 game won't pop up on the tube. At this point, it's safe to say a 360-only game would be untelevised without the online network.

And here's that full rundown:

Baylor-Missouri
Kent State-Akron
UL Monroe-North Texas
Florida International-Middle Tennessee
Troy-Western Kentucky

Maryland-N.C. State is the lone ESPN360-only game of the week. The same was true two weeks ago when the Terps traveled to Duke.

(Last week, the only ESPN360-only games were Coastal Carolina-Clemson and Duke-Virginia. Anyone else see a trend?)

Now, the 360 treatment is better than nothing and, depending on your vantage point, might be better than a PPV game.

But no one should argue it is high profile --- especially when those games' company almost is a game featuring the worst team in the Big 12 and as much Sun Belt football as you can handle.
