Turner, Ross done for rest of the day

← return to D1SCOURSE

RALEIGH, N.C. --- It was only a matter of time before Russell Wilson killed Maryland with his scampering. It finally happened early in the third quarter with a 2-yard touchdown run.

Chris Turner, though, won't be able to answer for the Terps.

The senior quarterback is out for the rest of the game with a knee injury. So, too, is defensive end Isaiah Ross.

So the points (Maryland is down 31-21) and the injuries keep piling up for the Terps, who suddenly have a very real chance of getting stuck with the first 10-loss season in school history. If Turner's injury is even remotely serious, it could be tough to win again.
