Maryland snuck into the AP top 25 this week, sliding up to 25th after Mississippi State's loss at Rider knocked the Bulldogs out of the rankings.
The Terps are ranked for the first time since the end of the 2006-07 season. This appearance snaps the program's longest poll drought since a stretch of more than eight years that started early in Len Bias' final season and ended halfway through Joe Smith's freshman season.
More to come from CP in a bit.
