Drill, baby, drill

John McCain can't go more than one campaign stop without hearing the words of wisdom former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele coined at the Republican National Convention.

Whenever McCain calls for the country to "drill now" in his stump speech, someone in the crowd — no matter if he's in Florida, Ohio or Colorado, starts up the chant of "Drill, baby, drill."

Saturday morning in Albuquerque, McCain let the chant go on a bit longer than usual, then wondered, "I don't know who thought of that one, but it sure has caught on."

What Would You Do? Sorry, but there is something strange in the Obama household. This ain’t Ozzie and Harriet, that’s for sure. Grandma Dunham, Barack’s defacto mother, the woman who raised him while her daughter ran around the world, is supposedly on her deathbed. She is 86 years old and the clock on her mortal coil is ticking down. So, if your defacto mother-in-law, the woman who raised your husband, is at death’s door do you: A) Take your children and accompany your husband for a final visit/farewell, B) Stay home and make sure your girls get to school, or C) Go campaigning What kind of a mother is Michelle. First Reverend Wright baptized her children. Now her and the kids don't see their grandmother maybe for the last time?
