Boudreau on Sean Avery

← return to In The Room

Thought this was worth its own entry on here -- when asked if he had Sean Avery in Manchester of the AHL, Bruce Boudreau said, "Yep. It is in the book." Boudreau went on to say an ENTIRE CHAPTER of his book, which comes out next fall, is dedicated to his time coaching Sean Avery.

The kicker is Boudreau only had Avery for one week. Avery played three games for the Monarchs in the 2002-03 AHL playoffs.

"I had him for one week," Boudreau said. "It felt like a year."
