

Here are a couple of quick notes from after practice, which turned out to be a pretty long skate:
*Brent Johnson did not practice, but Bruce Boudreau said he would be available tomorrow night. Boudreau did not want to say who is starter (or backup) would be tomorrow night -- in part because of ...
*Jose Theodore practiced with the team, and said his return is "hopefully right around the corner." Boudreau thought he looked pretty good, and said he would decide on the goalies tomorrow.
*Chris Clark wasn't around after practice because he was on the ice so early. He is eligible to come off LTIR tomorrow, but Boudreau said that because he hasn't practiced with the team, he doesn't expect him back before Christmas.
*Alex Ovechkin didn't do much after the early part of practice, but he was just resting.The jersey change wasn't a big deal.
