Update from practice

← return to In The Room

Just got off the phone with Caps coach Bruce Boudreau, who just got done putting his troops through a practice at the Honda Center in the O.C. He said everyone practiced, but Alexander Semin came off early. In his words, Semin "doubtful", Sergei Fedorov is "questionable" and Shaone Morrisonn is "a game-time decision." He did say Morrisonn is the most-likely of the three to play. Boudreau said he's chosen a goalie for tomorrow night, but would not elaborate. He did say his plan is to play both in the next two days, unless the starter tomorrow night is so great that he forces his coach to start him the next night at Staples Center against Los Angeles. I will not be on this trip for financial and deadline reasons. Ben Goessling, one of our Nats beat writers and a rabid fan of all things puck, will catch up with the team when they reach his home state of Minnesota.
