Post-practice update

*Jose Theodore will start in net for the Caps.

*The four new guys from Hershey all drove down to Arlington, forming a carvan of hockey players on I-83 South. Chris Bourque said he and Karl Alzner are roommates in Hershey, and the general consensus from them was it is nice to not be the only new guy in the dressing room.

*Bourque and Lepsito will both see time on the point during power plays tonight. One unit had the top line up front (Ovechkin, Backstrom, Kozlov) and the other unit had the second line (Nylander, Fleischmann, Fehr).

*Green said he hopes to back either Friday or Saturday. He was the only one of the seven injured guys on the ice this morning. Bruce Boudreau said he thinks Boyd Gordon (back spasms) could also be ready to play by Friday.

*Boudreau said that Semin didn't skate because he skated every day on the road trip and still isn't ready, so maybe rest will help. He said maybe he has re-strained his injury while skating.

*Chris Clark has a cast on his right forearm, and Boudreau said he knows the injury has been bothering him for "a while".

Finally, here are the d-parings for tonight:

Poti-Sloan Morrisonn-Lepisto Alzner-Jurcina

Boudreau said he wanted a puck-mover in each paring (Poti, Lepisto, Alzner). He also said he's not talking to his good buddy John Anderson today, though he did leave him a message last night.
