Expect Brian Pothier to be in the lineup Saturday against the New York Rangers. Pothier said Bruce Boudreau has told him he will play, and Boudreau confirmed that.
Jeff Schultz did not practice and is likely out tomorrow. Boudreau did not divulge the nature of his injury.
Boudreau said he wasn't budging on naming a starting goaltender, but it certainly sounded like Jose Theodore will be the guy.
Finally, you can thank Kenny's Hair Salon in Arlington for the new looks from Alex Ovechkin, Mike Green and Nicklas Backstrom. All three went there and had red streaks put in their hair. Green said it was Ovechkin's idea. Backstrom said they can't "rock the red" without some red hair. Feel free to form your own opinions on how it actually looks.
