Just spoke to former Caps defenseman Steve Eminger on the phone. He had not heard anything about the steroid-bust story, for what it is worth.
Here's what he said when asked if he ever saw or heard about anyone with the Caps and steroids:
"No, never, not once -- it was never talked about once," Eminger said. "We got tested two-three times a year. Never once -- I don't know, you see guys. Guys aren't extremely ripped or anything."
Eminger was drafted by the Capitals in 2002 and played for the team from the 2002-03 season until he was traded last year at the draft in June.
