

The Caps are finishing up the warmup skate, and there appear to be some changes. It looks like John Erskine will play after missing eight games with a hand injury, and Brian Pothier will be a healthy scratch because of it.
The defense pairings, based on warmups, are Morrisonn-Green, Poti-Erskine, Schultz-Jurcina.
Also, the new top line is Laich-Backstrom-Semin, with Fleischmann-Morrison-Knuble as the second unit. Bruce Boudreau basically just flopped Backstrom and Knuble.
