Green, Schultz injured for Caps

Mike Green has left the game with an undisclosed injury and may return, so says a team official. Green didn't play in the final 11 minutes of the first period and hasn't rejoined the team in the early stages of the second.

The Caps went with five defensemen for the rest of the period, but moved Tyler Sloan to the blue line to start the second period.

Also, defenseman Jeff Schultz just left the game as well. A team official said it is also an undisclosed injury and his status is the game. The Caps have caught a bit of a break having Sloan in the lineup -- otherwise they'd be down to four defensemen right now.

As it stands, they've got 11 forwards and 5 defensemen.
