Another Nylander 'update'

Before we get to the Caps' 5-4 shootout win, here's the Michael Nylander "update" ...

RDS is reporting that Nylander to Minsk of the KHL is a done deal. I saw George McPhee after the game and here's the exchange:

Me: "RDS says Nylander to Russia is a done deal. Is that true?" [NOTE: Bad job by me ... Minsk is in Bealrus, but you get the point]

GMGM: "I don't know. Honestly, I don't know. When I know, I will let you know."

A team official said about an hour later that there is still nothing to report on Nylander.
