Here's a few quick updates on other guys who don't have $124 million contracts:
* Jose Theodore is in net tonight for the third straight game.
* Tyler Sloan will be a healthy scratch with Mike Green returning to the lineup. Sloan was a savior Friday and Saturday was ... not so good.
* Bruce Boudreau on Alexander Semin: "He's got some bumps and bruises. For Alex -- you guys know his history [NOTE: if this is your first day reading the blog or following the Caps, this is a reference to Semin's propensity for nursing minor injuries longer than he needs to] -- he's playing through all of these things, which is a really positive thing for him. I applaud him for doing what he's doing and just trying to go out and compete."
* Boyd Gordon was on the ice with his teammates for a third straight day. He will miss his 12th straight game tonight, but Boudreau said he will probably play this weekend.
