The Caps are on the ice for the morning skate here at K-Plex. Milan Jurcina and David Steckel are not on the ice. Steckel has an excused absence (death in the family), but Jurcina also didn't skate yesterday, and everyone was supposed to skate at least one of the two days.
Mike Knuble isn't on the ice, either, but he skated yesterday and isn't a big fan of morning skates. Alex Ovechkin is on the ice, and he's not wearing a different colored sweater (all of the forwards are in their typical morning skate whites).
More on Jurcina and some other stuff in a bit.
