The Caps, well some of them, are on the ice this morning for the morning skate. Alex Ovechkin is not skating, but he is here and is just taking the morning off. Alexander Semin is on the ice, so look for him to be back after two games out of the lineup.
Eric Fehr was on the ice briefly but left before warmups were over. Quintin Laing is also missing. If one of them is OK to play tonight, the Caps are fine, but if both are out a call-up would be forthcoming (unless Tyler Sloan were to be an emergency option, but he's wearing a defenseman's jersey right now).
Boyd Gordon is still missing, so expect him to miss his fifth straight game because of a lingering back injury.
More updates after the skate.
