On the second hole at Congressional — Tiger Woods' 11th of the day — the 14-time major winner hit one of the worst shots you'll ever see him hit.
Sitting in a green-side bunker with ample green to work with, Woods launched his shot 30 yards over the green. All Tiger could do was laugh, as someone in the gallery said, "He is human."
That was one of the only blemishes on Woods' round, in which he played with Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo, House minority leader John Boehner, and Tom Dundon, the president and CEO of Drive Financial and Santander Consumer USA.
This week's tournament host made a habit of hitting fairways and greens during his Pro-Am round and sunk a couple of putts, too — a definite improvement over his performance on the greens at the U.S. Open.
During the tournament's opening ceremonies on the first tee, Woods said he has a good time playing with Romo and Co.
"I added to my spending fund," Woods joked about some wagers he and Romo made on the course.
