Chambliss wins Georgia runoff election

Sen. Saxby Chambliss won a second term in Georgia's runoff election, S.A. Miller is reporting.

Democrats had targeted Chambliss' seat, aiming to secure 60 Senate seats and a filibuster-proof majority.

Now it looks like the Senate will have to rely on bipartisanship to get things done. (Sorry about the profanity.)
