Ted Leonsis reaches friend limit on Facebook

Ted Leonsis, owner of the Washington Capitals hockey team, has reached the limit on the number of friends he can have on his Facebook page.

The Brooklyn-born AOL executive has just over 5,000 friends, making him one of the most accessible team owners in the nation.

Maybe Ted'll start a new fan page, like Arianna Huffington, who created a new page even though she still has some room for friends on her original Facebook page.

Or maybe he'll persuade Facebook to open up. The social networking site could use the money.
