Chinese President Hu Jintao visited Fidel Castro in Cuba during a tour of Latin America, Agence France Presse is reporting.

Cuban officials propped up the recovering Castro to take a picture with Hu, who said the Cuban leader looked good for an irrelevant icon.

Then the two communist leaders traded baking secrets and dished on Russian President Dmitry Medvedev before ending their meeting with an embrace that some observers was uncomfortably long.
