When they take on the visiting Los Angeles Lakers tomorrow night, the Washington Wizards will be sporting a different look as they celebrate their 45th anniversary by wearing throwback Chicago Zephyrs jerseys.

The Wizards franchise originally was the Chicago Packers (1961-62) before the name was changed to the Zephyrs the 1962-63 campaign. The franchise then moved to Baltimore and had its nickname switched to the Bullets, the name the team held until 1997.
The Zephyrs throwbacks, which are pretty sweet looking (I got a peek last night in the locker room), are a part of the NBA Hardwood Classics Nights. The team will wear the jerseys three more times: Jan. 16, Feb. 27 and March 17.
