Wizards coach Eddie Jordan just gave his pre-game press conference and announced that point guard Antonio Daniels will be back in the starting lineup after missing the last game and two practices with a sore and swelling knee.
Daniels just yesterday rode the bike while the team was practicing and afterward had the knee wrapped and iced and was dragging his right leg pretty badly.
He said, however, that he didn't "this it's fair" to his teammates, coach or the organization to sit, regardless of how uncomfortable he was and that if he could gut it out, he would.
Tonight, he will give it a go.
The third inactive tonight -- in addition to the obvious, Gilbert Arenas and Brendan Haywood -- will be Dominic McGuire. It's his first night on the inactive list this season. Oleksiy Pecherov had been the third inactive for three games, while Etan Thomas and Daniels had each sat a game -- both with injury.
Eddie said sitting McGuire isn't an injury-related mood but that "It's just my decision, to sit him and to play Oleksiy tonight."
