It's a new era at Redskins Park.
Over the past two seasons, defensive coordinator Greg Blache refused to speak with members of the media. But now the NFL is requiring coordinators to open up every once in a while. On Wednesday, Blache removed the muzzle, and the results were fantastic.
When asked about rookie safety Chris Horton's standout performance in Sunday night's 30-16 win over Indianapolis, Blache offered his philosophy on first-year players, love and late-night activities.
"Rookies are fine and dandy, and I'm glad to see them progressing, but I don't fall in love with rookies," Blache said after morning practice. "I would rather fall in love with a stripper than a rookie because they will break your heart."
