Gregg's guys

← return to Redskins 360

Gregg Williams ran Washington's defense the past four years and who was supposed to take over when coach Joe Gibbs retired in January but was fired instead by owner Dan Snyder. Williams didn't show any hard feelings for the rest of the organization, hugging former assistants Greg Blache and Steve Jackson as well as players Marcus Washington, Shawn Springs, Carlos Rogers and Reed Doughty before the game. Former Redskins safety Pierson Prioleau, now with Jacksonville, was also in the middle of the hugfest.
