Receiver Brandon Lloyd, the protypical high-priced Redskins bust of recent years, was making your truly look bad when he led Chicago in receiving yards and had two touchdowns -- one on special teams for crying out loud -- after four games.

However, Lloyd turned back into his usual problematic self the next six weeks after spraining the PCL in his left knee. Lloyd was supposed to miss 2-4 weeks, but he was out for six weeks before returing with two catches for 17 yards in Sunday's 37-3 bludgeoning by Green Bay.

Lloyd was actually held out the previous week against Tennessee by a coaching staff frustrated by how long it was taking him to get back by his statement that he wouldn't play until he was 100 percent. As if any NFL player is 100 percent in November.

"What I meant is that I want to be able to make the kind of moves I always make -- run the kind of routes and make the kind of cuts," Lloyd said. "If I don't have that confidence, I'm worthless. If I'm not out here playing how I normally play, what good am I?"

That's a question everyone in Washington wondered the previous two seasons.
