The Washington Redskins just received news that their game against the Baltimore Ravens on Dec. 7 will be "flexed" to 8:15 p.m., where it will get the prime time "Sunday Night Football" treatment on NBC.
The game, at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, originally was schedulued for 1 p.m. that day.
Also moving: The New England/Seattle game, from that night spot to the 4:05 spot on CBS.
Redskins coach Jim Zorn didn't seem to mind the move, noting the regional and national interest during his afternoon press conference.
"There will be a lot of enthusiasm around the football nation because it's two teams battling for playoff position," Zorn said, "so I can see why the league did it.
"We're honored to have that opportunity late in the season, to not be taken off a game," he added with a chuckle.
It will be the fourth prime time game of the season for the Redskins, who opened the season late night in New York against the Giants and played host to the Cowboys and Steelers on Monday and Sunday Night Football, respectively.
