Springs, J. Taylor out

← return to Redskins 360

Injuries dominated the conversation here at Redskin Park where Jim Zorn ruled out cornerback Shawn Springs and defensive end Jason Taylor for next Monday night's game against Pittsburgh. It will be the third straight missed game (and fifth this season) for Springs, who has a calf problem. Taylor played Sunday and had a minor procedure on his surgically-repaired calf and Zorn said an infection was discovered that is being treated with antibiotics. Other injury news: Zorn expects Cornelius Griffin, Chris Horton, Santana Moss, Clinton Portis and Chris Samuels to play. Samuels' cartilage problem is likely to result in off-season surgery.
