Friday is Fine Announcement Day in the NFL and the Redskins did not survive unscathed.

Redskins left guard Pete Kendall was fined $5,000 on Friday for pulling off the helmet of New York Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce last week in a post-practice altercation.

Left tackle Chris Samuels was not fined for his block that injured Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka's ankle. Kiwanuka is expected to play Sunday at St. Louis
