Fox Signs With Broncos

Special-teamer Vernon Fox, who lost his roster spot in Washington this summer due to the promise of rookie safeties Chris Horton and Kareem Moore, signed with unbeaten Denver. Fox, who spent two years with the Redskins and started the final six games of 2006 after Adam Archuleta bombed and Pierson Prioleau and Troy Vincent were hurt, returns to the AFC West where he once played for San Diego. Fox follows late Redskins cuts Derrick Frost (Green Bay), Todd Wade (Jacksonville), Billy McMullen (Seattle) and Marcus Mason (Baltimore) in finding a new team.
