Dishman returns to NFL

Cris Dishman, who made the Pro Bowl in 1997, the first of his two seasons with the Washington Redskins, is rejoining coach Norv Turner in San Diego as assistant secondary coach.

Dishman, an NFL cornerback for 13 seasons — mostly with the Houston Oilers — was defensive coordinator at Menlo (Cal.) College the last three seasons. He also made the Pro Bowl in 1991 with Houson. After he left the Redskins, he spent two more seasons in the NFL with Kansas City and Minnesota.
