Quick post-game reaction from the Redskins'  locker room:

First-round pick Brian Orakpo on his NFL debut:

"I know I made some mental errors and mistakes just like anybody, but I thought I did some good things. I know I have an advantage [in] coming off the edge and putting pressure [on the quarterback]. Linebacker, I continue to improve. I'm reading stuff a lot faster and flying around a lot faster instead of thinking too much. Once the first series was over with, it was back to football. It's the NFL, but at the end of the day, it's football."

Rookie free agent defensive end J.D. Skolnitsky on his first sack:

"I basically just fell into it. That was a positive, but there were a bunch of different things that I could have done better."

Defensive end Alex Buzbee on his first action since tearing his Achilles' tendon on the first snap of training camp in 2008:

"It felt great running around again. It got a little sore, but I was coming off the ball good. It was a lot of fun to play again."

Third-round cornerback Kevin Barnes, who was beaten for a touchdown:

"I made some mistakes, but I finished better than I started. Everybody's definitely good [in the NFL]. I made the same mistake a week ago [in practice]. I don't [usually] make mistake twice. I should've been closer to the receiver than I was."

Second-year cornerback Justin Tryon on his tough night:

"I just gotta go back to the drawing board. I'll be all right."

Veteran defensive end Phillip Daniels on his first action since tearing two knee ligaments on the opening snap of training camp in 2008:

"It felt good to be back out there. It felt good to get my feet wet again after being out so long. I was a little emotional on the [bus] ride over here, thinking about all I went through to get back. My knee felt great."
