The Redskins have signed third-round supplemental pick Jeremy Jarmon, leaving only first-rounder Brian Orakpo unsigned the day before the team reports for training camp.
UPDATE: According to a league source, Jarmon's contract is four years and includes a $755,000 signing bonus.
Jarmon was chosen less than two weeks ago and the Redskins thought enough of the defensive end to sacrifice their 2010 third round pick.
It was important for Jarmon to be in camp on time. He didn't attend any of the off-season programs or mini camp and any additional missed time would have been costly.
The Redskins roster is now at 79 -- Orakpo will be added to reach the maximum 80.
As for Michael Vick, it would now be a stunner if the Redskins pursue him. The Redskins, Bengals, 49ers, Raiders and Seahawks have all said they're out of the Vick pursuit.
