Clinton Portis wasn't in the locker room this morning. Neither was Chris Horton.
Portis' fellow running back, Rock Cartwright, said that the starter was doing OK on the way home from Atlanta last night. However, the Redskins will be careful because Portis has a concussion. Wonder how much CP wants to play Sunday against his old team, Denver.
Horton texted fellow safety Kareem Moore that he couldn't walk this morning because of the toe he injured on his left foot against the Falcons.
Neither offensive tackle Mike Williams nor quarterback Jason Campbell, who injured ankles, were in the locker room either. Campbell, who also bruised his chest, finished the game. Williams didn't.
Safety Reed Doughty said his right knee was just bruised and he'll be fine this week.
Punter Hunter Smith, who has missed three of the past four games, said he won't know if his ailing groin will allow him to face the Broncos until he tries to kick in practice on Friday.
