Running back Ladell Betts and offensive tackle Stephon Heyer, both out on Thursday, are practicing in the rain today.
That's good news for coach Jim Zorn, who was otherwise looking at giving running back Rock Cartwright his first start since 2003 and D'Anthony Batiste his first at tackle.
Not a great day for punting, but I'll have an update on Hunter Smith's health/status for Sunday's game with Denver and the news on Betts and Heyer after practice when Zorn and the players are available to the media.
