Receiver Brandon Lloyd, one of the biggest mistakes that Joe Gibbs ever made during his second tenure as Washington's coach, is inactive for Denver.
Lloud caught 25 passe for 379 yards and no touchdowns in 2006-07 after acquired from San Francisco and then given a six-year, $30 million contract. The Redskins dumped him on the Bears after the 2007 season.
If the Redskins had made any phone calls before the trade, they would've learned that Lloyd was an even worse person off the field than he was unproductive on it.
Lloyd, who once declared that he needed to play on a winning team to play well, has yet to suit up in nine games for the Broncos.
