Hall, Griffin, Monty ailing, too

Add DeAngelo Hall, Cornelius Griffin and Anthony Montgomery to the injury list.

Hall, the Redskins' top cornerback, and Griffin, their longtime mainstay at defensive tackle, were both injured during practice. Coach Jim Zorn said that Hall "tweaked" an ankle and Griffin bruised a thigh.

Montgomery, a starting defensive tackle in 2007, has been inactive each game so far. Zorn said that the roughness in Montgomery's knee flared up again today.

The coach added that Montgomery is the least likely of the ailing Redskins, a list that also includes defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (hip), running back Clinton Portis (calf) and fullback Mike Sellers (quadricep), to be available for Sunday's game with Tampa Bay.

With Haynesworth, Griffin and Montgomery all sidelined, it's no wonder that Kedric Golston and Lorenzo Alexander came off the field involved in a lengthy conversation. They're the only two healthy defensive tackles although ends Phillip Daniels and Renaldo Wynn have experience playing inside.
