Defensive end Phillip Daniels was happy after practicing today for the first time since tearing his right bicep last Sunday.
Daniels plans to start against Kansas City. So does defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin, who fully participated on Friday for the first time since spraining his left elbow against the Bucs. Griffin was inactive at Carolina.
If Daniels and Griffin, who are both officially questionable, have setbacks, Kedric Golston and rookie Jeremy Jarmon would start.
Guard Chad Rinehart, who lost his starting job to Mike Williams last week, said that he's still trying to regain full strength in the left shoulder he injured early against the Bucs.
If Rinehart can't go, rookie free agent Edwin Williams would likely be active for the first time.
Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (ankle) and running back Clinton Portis (calf) took full practice on Friday and will start.
Defensive tackle Anthony Montgomery will likely miss a fifth straight game with a troublesome knee.
