Playboy Enterprises impresario Hugh Hefner poses next to a laser-generated image of his head on a computer screen following a laser scanning session, Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 26, 2000, at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, Calif. The resulting image will be used to create an exact wax model of his head for a figure at the Hollywood Wax Museum. The technology, used here for the first time for a wax figure, is the same type used in the creation of high-tech maps and in the manufacture of mechanical parts for jets and automobiles. The completed figure will be unveiled in Hollywood in November. (AP Photo/Reed Saxon)
